What a better way to kick off the holidays with food, drinks (except for me) and friends than a work party with some very fun and unique girls and some of their men. It was a great evening and I'm glad I invited myself as Ms Rosa's date :) Old friends and new friends and even a fun gift exchange that I didn't participate in for some unknown reason even to me. It's nice to still be and feel apart of such a fun group of gals.
BUT then 9 o'clock rolled around and the temp outside (we were on the patio) was dropping and I was getting a chill and starting yawning. Yes thats right I am old or at least feel old. Plus my babysitter (my mom) was not about to stay up late to wait for me to get home. So I said my good byes (not that most noticed with drinks in hand:) and I high tailed it outta there and straight home into my pjs and on the couch with a bowl of birthday cake ice cream and a good ol show.
The hubby is working nights these days so I'm attempting to wait up for him and clear some shows off the DVR in the mean time.
So 3 days till Christmas so get those last minute gifts and have yourself a very merry christmas.

Intro to our lives....
So I thought this might be fun to share my thoughts, ideas, worries, concerns and memories on here. I love to read peoples blogs and figured I'd join the the craze.
Now let me tell you I am NOT a writer and do not pay attention to spell checking my stuff :) so bare with me.
I am a married 28 year old, with a degree in early childhood education, but currently work as a substitute in my old preschool I use to teach at. I have a small hair bow business I run from home and spend my other free time with my amazingly funny 2 and half year son Aiden. My husband works at Toyota and we have been married for almost 4 years.
We knew right away that we both wanted kids and started trying as soon as we got married. As a few months passed and nothing happened I went straight to the doctor and got tests done and fertility meds (clomid). Within 2 months I was pregnant!!! No major complications besides high blood pressure towards the middle and end of the pregnancy. And I actually delivered early (37 weeks and some days) due to it.
We also knew that we wanted our kids kinda close in age (at least 2-3 yrs) so we started to try or see what would happened shortly after Aiden turned 2, well about 10 months later nothing so we knew we should try the fertility pill I used to get pregnant with Aiden and low and behold 2 months later I got pregnant! But unfortunately I miscarried at 7 weeks. That was very hard to wrap my brain and heart around, but we wanted to press foward and keep trying. So 2 more rounds of meds that were unsuccessful my OB/GYN said I needed to go to a fertility doctor.
I did so just last week and got on some new meds and I am hoping for some good news shortly after Christmas. We will see though. I know it will all work out in the end like it should and that God has a plan for us so I am trying to be patient to see what He has in store.
So stay turned for updates and stories because this a journey and will continue to be so.
