Zombie days

due to sleepless nights. Two nights in row my sweet little boy has waken up throwing up. Not a lot but just enough to need to wash everything on his bed and put new pj's on. He even got to sleep in my bed the first night just the 2 of us (while hubby slept on the couch) and last night since it was 5 am I just brought him to bed with us. This causes me to not get very good sleep. And while I am totally against a child in the bed, he was just so scared after throwing up it broke my heart. The thing is he is perfectly fine during the day. Who knows for the cause of his tummy problems oh and runny diaper issues. But hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
On other note it is FREEZING here TX when it should be in the 60's its been in the 30's and 40's !! Way to cold for this texan. This weather causes me to not want to leave the house because I can't stand to be cold. Well yes I am a weeny and that's okay :)
On other news my 3rd blood work results were good and my levels are rising like they should! I will go for a 4th (not happy about this) blood test friday and when they reach a certain number which should be by friday I will get to schedule a ultrasound. Feels to easy because I don't even really feel pregnant ......YET.
Well with lots of free time on your hands we managed some photo opts :

"it's cold and rainy"

as my 2 yr old says when he looks outside :) and well it is today. Days like today make me feel tired, lazy, moody and just plain yucky. But none the less we made our weekly grocery trip and I saved $17 in deals and coupons :) Didn't get a nap in but thats ok maybe it'll help me sleep better tonight. I got a good call from my fertility doctors office and my blood work from friday showed that my levels increased so thats good and I'll go retest tomorrow.
I.HATE.BLOODWORK:(..............but as long as it gives good results then I'm happy.
Not to much else going on in our world. Oh yeah my son's eye is almost always turned in these days :(
In late October one day I noticed one eye was straight and the other one was turned in. My mom and husband freaked out more than I did but after many eye doctor appts and an MRI we are just waiting for his next appt (feb3) and we will probably end up having a very routine surgery to fix it. The strange thing is that it use to be every other day, and it amazed the doctor. Well as of last week it stopped cycling and now its every day. Poor little guy doesnt seem to be too affected by it BUT it just looks horrible.

Scared too.....

do alot of things these days.
Well ever since I found out I was pregnant I am trying to be VERY careful especially after my miscarriage this summer. So even things that I did with my first pregnancy which ended great I am terrified to do now.
Examples:
-drink caffeine (did I mention Diet coke is my best friend)
-sleep on stomach
-take any type of medicine or pill unless it's my prenatal vitamin (did I mention I suffer from migraines)
-eat hot dog or deli meat or fish (which I love all)
-take HOT showers to the point where my skin is red
-lift anything heavy (did I mention my toddler weighs 30ish lbs and always says to me "hold you!!!")

On the up side I am trying to:
-drink 64 oz of water (my least favorite liquid)
-stay calm and positive (this is not me at all :))
-clean more and get organized (ok so nothing to do with pregnancy but makes me feel better:))

Well here's to a long week, weeks, month and 9 months ahead!

Time to get EXCITED.......

so 2011 is already off to a great start :) Our family received great news yesterday afternoon when my doctors nurse called with my blood results confirming what i kinda knew and hoped for: we were finally pregnant !!!! Finally I say because it's been a long journey of trying and medicines, doctors and a ton of needle pokes! After my miscarriage this summer its hard to get too excited just yet but I am trying to stay and think positive and hope for the best. Either way I know what is meant to be will be and God his plans for us and He is in control not us.
I'm just so happy to finally see a positive test again :)
Now that my friend is a beautiful picture to those who have tired and tired and tired again :)

Oh happy day, and I even felt so great today that I worked! Made some Valentine bows.
Now it's off to watch The Land Before Time with my son, I bought it for him just today so we didnt have to watch Pinocchio :) and it's working so far.

the waiting game...

who likes to wait? not a patient person....NOT me. To wait for a package, a yummy dinner when your starving, an important phone call from a doctors office, for a good movie to come out, for laundry to dry when I need to wear something thats drying in it, waiting for a light to try green and many more. These are just a few of the things that drive me up the wall while waiting. Have you ever heard that song by Alabama "I'm in a hurry to get things done oh i rush and rush until lifes no fun" That song is SOOOOO me !!

In the mean time my 2.5 yr old requesting to watch Pinocchio 2x a day is driving me nuts as well.
Also not working on bows for past couple of weeks has left me with a sense of no purpose at the moment. I need something besides shows to entertain and pass my time.
But as I type this I finally got my phone and it's GREAT news so more to come on that later :)
I already LOVE 2011 !

2011

Is already upon us and going to be great. As I sit on the couch listening to the sound of trains coming from my sons room and can't help but smile. The holidays were good to us! Lots of family time, fun gifts, chances to go to the movies and most importantly a chance to reflect and thank God for everything he has given us. So I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions BUT if I were to make a list of things I'd like to work on this year here would be a few:
1) Spend more time at church and get involved in groups at church

2) spend less time on electronics and more time with family

3) eat less and move more

4) get information into working on my masters so I can get a real job one day

5) learn to breathe and enjoy life more

these seem easy to achieve and good goals for me to work on :)

Well the new year is starting off pretty well.......more details to come later once confirmed !!!!
